Volunteer Ministers Open Their Yellow Tent in Bologna
The Scientology Volunteer Ministers yellow tent in Bologna is presenting practical tools for news eugene helping people in everyday life, remaining in Piazza Lucio Dalla until 8 September.
The inauguration brought together around 100 participants, including local officials and community representatives.
Among them was Pianoro Mayor Luca Vecchiettini, who recalled the assistance provided following the 2024 floods. Restaurateur Fabrizio Lazzarini also described how volunteers helped clear his mud-covered restaurant.
Andrea Ferrarini, formerly involved with civil protection in Bondeno, spoke about volunteer support given to communities affected by the 2012 earthquake.
Founded by L. Ron Hubbard in 1976, the programme combines community assistance with disaster-response activities.
Inside the Bologna tent, visitors can view photographs and videos documenting Volunteer Ministers activities while learning about methods addressing communication, education, relationships and everyday challenges.
Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and UN, described the Bologna initiative as an expression of European values of solidarity, human dignity and community responsibility.
The initiative brings together memories of disaster response with methods intended to help people handle everyday difficulties.
